We couldn’t be happier to have you join us in the beautiful Village of Oak Creek! As you will find, we are an eclectic market showcasing a wide variety of vendors. We have produce, jewelry, art, natural bath products, food vendors, and much, much more!
As I’m sure you saw from perusing our site, our market occurs on the 1st and 3rd weekend of each month and runs for three days (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8am to 1pm). To help you become familiar with our vendors and get a feel for the variety we offer, we are going to feature a vendor the week before each upcoming market (be sure to come back often to see the newest feature!). We are excited to have these local businesses join us and we want you to see why!
This week, we are featuring Marilyn Bradford, “The Lavender Lady”, from Sedona Lavender Farm. Who doesn’t love the heavenly scent of lavender! She has been with The Collective Market Sedona since our beginning and has always brought a wide array of her products….which lightly scent the market with their lovely fragrance!
All organically grown, from the Provence Lavender to the Royal Velvet, only the very best are proudly featured and go from field to market in the form of dried bouquets, hydrating mists, lavender soaps, and ultra rich body butters. When you walk by her stand, you are encouraged to try the moisturizing body butter or sample a lavender cookie! Marilyn’s love of lavender is infectious and you can’t help being drawn in by the relaxing smell of lavender.
Marilyn came to Sedona in the 70’s and determined that she would one day put down roots among the majestic red rocks. Twenty years later, she did just that and actually put down hundreds of roots….in the form of some of the most beautiful varieties of lavender there are. There’s an old saying, “Do what you love to do and then it never seems like work.” That is exactly what Marilyn did, and now she works outside in the fields planting lavender in the warmth of the Arizona sun. All of that love goes into her plants and products, and you can see it in the quality!
Stop by this weekend, June 17 – 18 from 8am to 1pm, and visit The Lavender Lady and see what she has to offer! I can guarantee that you won’t be disappointed! And if you aren’t able to make it to the market this weekend, head over to her website at www.sedonalavenderfarm.com to see what she offers. You can even find lavender recipes! Yum!
And, as always, you can always see her and our other vendors at our future markets on July 1 – 4, July 15 – 17, and the 1st and 3rd weekend of each month!
We hope to see you there!
